In our production of watch display ,jewelery display ,cosmetic display , optical display and so on , the visual are common . so it is necessary to know the types of printing .

According to the relative position of graphic and non-graphic areas on a printing plate, the common printing methods can be divided into relief printing, intaglio printing, lithography and orifice printing:

(1) letterpress printing. The graphic part of the printing plate is raised, obviously higher than the blank part. The principle of printing is similar to seal.

(2) intaglio printing, printing plate of the text part is lower than the blank part, often used for banknotes, stamps and other securities printing.

(3) lithographic printing, printing plate and the graphic part of the blank part is almost in the same plane, using the principle of insoluble oil and water for printing.

(4) orifice printing. The graphic and text parts of the printing plate are holes. The ink is transferred to the substrate surface through holes
